We never used it for a bath but we had fun making a few batches to play in.
It was fun and easy to do. I can imagine putting into the bath would be exciting and probably very messy, so we stuck to just keeping it in a large bowl to play with. Also the dissolving packet did bring the goo back to a liquid state but not completely.
