I love this straw!!!This is what I have been saying all day.
I've been drinking through a new glass straw from glass dharma (they are handmade in the USA) . I wanted something safer than plastic since my daughter and I use straws, so I decided to try glass.

If you want to feel decadent, opulent, and environmentally friendly try it out. My  daughter loves drinking out of it too. It is luxurious and fun and will be the talk of your lunch party, but it is also very practical. They are safer for you -no chemicals leaching toxins from plastic, sustainable, durable, suitable for hot and cold drinks, and dishwasher safe. Using glass will also save you money because they are reusable. The straws are around $6.00 and come in different sizes.  If you are concerned about cleaning them, they have special cleaning brushes that are easy to use.  
We just used four of them tonight and it took me a couple of seconds to wash with the brushes!
Better for the environment and your health, while being fun at the same time.....I'm hooked!

Hawaiian Beach Girl Jewelry

Aloha! Let me introduce you to a local Hawaiian handmade jewelry online shop, "Beach Girl Jewels." 
The artist has a knack for using natural shells and metals to create gorgeous pieces.  She also uses eco-friendly products, as well as found materials such as rare shells and seaglass. The photography of the jewelry is also professional and lovely.  I like that she lives right here on Oahu and that her etsy shop is very reasonably priced.  You will pay much more for items like this in stores.

I received a pair of her large handmade 14k Gold fillhoops with  iridescent abalone shells that literally change color in the sunshine.  I absolutely love the gold with the multi colored abalone shell.  They are beautiful and go with everything!!! 


I am also in love with everything else in her shop like these rare sunrise shell earrings below:)
