Wellness Wednesday- How to sit correctly

In case you haven't heard every first and third Wednesday is "Wellness Wednesday" here at Mom's Best Bets.  I invite you to learn more about getting healthy with Lifetime Family Wellness Center. 
Sitting correctly is essential if you want to save your back.  Here are some tips:

1. Sit With Your Hips Higher Than Your Knees
2. Sit With Feet Flat on the Floor
3. Don't hunch over
4. Some chairs may require a
    lumbar seat wedge to provide additional lower back support.
5. Make sure your computer or work is not too low that your head is in a downward position.



I have been applying these tips whenever I am at the computer.  The Lumbar seat wedge works terrific.
If you or a loved one suffers from from an ailment or just wants to be and stay healthy, then I recommend visiting a chiropractor. Just another reason to schedule an appointment today!
