Wellness Wednesday- Chiropractics Helps Headaches and Migranes

In case you haven't heard every first and third Wednesday is "Wellness Wednesday" here at Mom's Best Bets.  I invite you to learn more about getting healthy with Lifetime Family Wellness Center.
Did you know that about 20% of the population suffers from the pain of chronic headaches.  The cause of headaches  can vary greatly.  Subluxation or a misalignment of spinal bones can cause pressure to the nervous system resulting in a headache.  Studies are now showing that chiropractic care and adjustments can reduce headache attacks by 90%.
An Australian study followed 123 individuals with clinically diagnosed migraines.  Eighty-three subjects underwent chiropractic care. A control group of 40 subjects was also established.  The experimental participants has significant decline in migraines compared to the control group.  A third of the group reported more than 90% reduction of migraines due to chiropractic care.
I am blessed not to suffer from headaches, but the other morning I was running around and didn't drink enough water.  I started to feel tightness and pain in my head.  Luckily, I had a chiropractic appointment scheduled.  After 2 minutes of adjustments to my back and pressure applied to my head (and a big glass of water) I walked out feeling super.

If you or a loved one suffers from headaches or migraines I recommend visiting a chiropractor. Just another reason to schedule an appointment today!
