Honeyville Almond Flour Recipes

Where has almond flour been all of my life?  Did you know that you can make EXCELLENT tasting breads, cookies, muffins, and much more with ground almonds?  I stress the "excellent taste" because you will be shocked (as I was) how delicious it is.

So, who would use almond flour? Anyone who is gluten intolerant or can't have wheat.  Also, anyone who would like a healthier wheat alternative because it's not just an empty carb.  It's protein filled with vitamins and minerals.
I recommend buying Honeyville Almond Flour because they are a reputable company featured on many popular cooking sites.  I made Honey Almond bread, chcoolate chip  cookeies, and yummy muffins all with my Honeyville Flour and can attest to thwe remarkable taste of their premium flour.

A little bit about Honeyville's Almond Flour:
Each bag contains 5 pounds of Gluten-Free Certified Kosher Blanched Almond Flour. 5 pounds of Almond Flour works out to about 23 cups.
Honeyville's Blanched Almond Flour, or Blanched Almond Meal, is a great way to cook with limited carbohydrate intake. Our Almond Flour is tested and certified to be Gluten Free.
But what is blanched almond flour?  Blanched Almond Flour is quite simply almonds (which have had their dark skin removed) that are milled into a fine flour. With a fraction of the carbs of wheat flour, almond flour provides a hearty flavor and consistency without adding all of those empty calories. Chock full of protein and dietary fiber, almond flour works well in a wide array of recipes. Blanched Almond Flour is great as a base in cakes, puddings, muffins, and as a thickener.
Honeyville Blanched Almond Flour is 100% Pure Almonds, with no additional ingredients added.  The taste and texture are phenomenal.

Almond Flour is also known as Almond Meal, Almond Powder, Ground Almonds, Nut Powder, or Nut Meal.
What's the difference between almond meal and almond flour?
Well, almond meal has the skin or brown coating on the almond when it's crushed.  Blanched almond flour has the skin removed.  I highly recommend Honeyville Almond flour for baking cookies and muffins.  Your recipes will turn out fluffier and a much better consistency.
