The price for a Dyson DC31 is $219. I am overly impressed with this vacuum and use it daily, especially when my daughter and I do arts and crafts. Oh, the minuscule pieces of paper and glitter that get everywhere...thank goodness for this little wonder.

I like the bright yellow color-fashionable and cleans well...hmmm...have you tried out their regular vacuum cleaner...I'm thinking about buying one but not sure whether to spend the money
