Magnesium is a critical mineral that many people are deficient in. Do you experience sleep issues, stress, fatigue, muscle cramps or headaches? You may benefit from more magnesium in your diet. It is hard to get adequate levels from our diet and you may want to talk to your doctor about taking a magnesium powder called Natural Calm developed by Peter Gillham of Natural Vitality.
I have taken natural calm for a year now and have had great results after a few months of taking this. My nails were stronger and even though I have never had trouble sleeping, I noticed feeling even more refreshed in the morning.
The key is absorbing it. You may be taking vitamins and minerals, but is your body absorbing and utilizing them? "Minerals like Calcium need Magnesium to be absorbed properly. Half of our magnesium is found inside cells of body tissue and organs and the other half combined with calcium and phosphorus in our bones; Only 1% of the magnesium is in our blood and therefore magnesium deficiency is hard to detect as our body fights hard to keep an adequate level in our blood and will take it from other places which reduces the chance of detecting any magnesium deficiency we may have (http://www.calmnatural.com/)."
Natural Calm Magnesium is available at health foods stores like Tip Top Health Shop, an excellent online store that carries Calm as well as many of my favorite products such as Derma E.

that is a great thing to know! i take a lot of supplements and vitamins, but haven't considered this one. a lot of vits/mins do need help to get absorbed into the body, that's for sure. i know that the Vitamin B Complex supplements are really good at helping you to absorb other vitamins and minerals, i'd definitely recommend that! the B Complex can also help your digestion and hair/nail growth too 8) thanks for educating us!
ReplyDeleteI use this and I love it. It has actually changed my life. I feel calmer and I sleep better and I just feel really good when I take it regularly.
ReplyDeleteInteresting, I have to look into this, I often have a hard time sleeping and my nails are always breaking.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the great review Pat! This is one of my very favourite products that I carry. I am much less stressed and sleep very well since taking it, which was not always the case. I always include a few samples of Natural Calm with any order placed through tiptophealthshop.ca, so you can try before you buy!
ReplyDeleteIt's all good!

Magnesium truly is the body's "master mineral." Without it, so many other minerals cannot be properly used in the body.
ReplyDeleteMost people have a hard time with taking oral magnesium supplements and don't get the results their body needs.
I was fortunate enough to come across "Transdermal Magnesium" or better know to me now as "Magnesium Oil."
Magnesium Oil is simply a magnesium rich mineral solution that has been sourced from some body of salt water.
Since the minerals in sea water are constantly being subjected to sunlight, it in turn makes the minerals ionic (ready for the body to use).
It is as simple as spraying the solution on your skin and the body absorbs it directly into the cell. No digesting needed!!
There are some concerns to be aware of however. Where are they sourcing their raw materials from? Is it clean of pollution and heavy metals?
I have researched about every brand out there and a lot of them can be misleading.
My favorite, by far, is Magnesoothe! They can be found at https://magnesoothe.com/index.html They handle there product in the very best manor from start to finish. They have the most helpful customer service. And their source goes unsurpassed!
Their source is the Dead Sea and there is no other body of salt water like it on the face of the planet! You can read more on the Dead Sea here at https://magnesoothe.com/dead-sea-facts.htm
If you want to know more on the purity of Magnesoothe, you can read that here at https://magnesoothe.com/purity-cleanliness-clarity-magnesoothe.htm
I hope that my 2 cent will be helpful to someone.
Best of Health!
