Happy Aloha Friday everyone!
Every Friday here at Mom's Best Bets we share healthy ideas.
This is my healthy craft idea:
Place cards are pretty popular when giving your table a personalized touch. Making your own cards are a great idea to spruce up your table and show off your creative side. Yes, we all have a creative side!
Here is a very simple idea that is good for the environment and easy for you. All you need is a sturdy, thick, and broad leaf and something sharp to scratch the surface, such as a craft knife. Wash your leaves and dry them good. Then carve your guests names on the leaves. You can also do it a day before and watch how the name will bleed slightly and give it a more fuzzy look. Then, spray with cooking spray and wipe them off with a towel.
Remember, If your leaf is too delicate it, the knife will rip your leaf, so look around your neighborhood for leaves that don't bend easily. If you can't find any, one or two bright colored maple leaves will brighten your autumn table beautifully.
Now, tuck your leaves inside your napkins and your done!
Now, it's your turn!
