Eco Crafts

It is so enjoyable creating art with a child. Here is an Eco craft that involves recycled materials, a little bit of nature, and a whole lot of fun:

Nature Collage

First, find a piece of sturdy cardboard to glue your treasures to. Look through your house for old yarn, scraps of material, cardboard -anything that will glue well to the surface.
Then head outdoors for a nature walk, looking for items that are not too big or bulky.
Leaves, small sticks, and flowers work well. You may have to press thick flowers beforehand depending on their shape and size.

The collage will be more interesting when you add various textures, colors, and prints. Talk to your child about contrasting surfaces, overlapping, and placement. Have fun with the glue and be generous with it so items won't fall off later. You can also make your own glue.
Then create, dry, and display. Have FUN!
